Light and Shade
Light (especially natural light), continued to play games with vision, providing an additional dimension to the exhibition space. Natural light entering the exhibition space through skylights illuminated the paintings partially and threw feint, green coloured reflections across the floor.
Dappled pools of white light moved around the small gesso picture, as the sun moved overhead and entered the room through the skylight. The polished surface reflected light from the cube’s sides, even when sunlight was absent.
